With over fifteen years of teaching experience across diverse educational contexts and age groups, I have developed a learner-centered educational philosophy that values differentiation and inclusive practice. My primary area of expertise is Photography, and I previously designed and delivered a structured middle school photography curriculum in Turkey aligned with conceptual understanding and skill development. In addition, I initiated and coordinated an elective photography course at Koç University as part of its summer academy for pre-college students, where I also led and mentored a team of photography instructors.
I later transitioned into teaching Science, focusing on learning experiences rooted in experimentation and real-world observation. Leveraging my academic background in Physics, I design instruction that is both rigorous and accessible, fostering critical thinking, curiosity, and active student engagement.
My experience teaching at the secondary level, particularly with high school students, has further shaped my interest in this age group and strengthened my approach to fostering independent, reflective learners. Currently, I teach Grade 7 English at Roong Aroon School, where I design and implement project-based and interdisciplinary learning experiences that support students in developing communication skills for authentic, real-life contexts.
